Account and Login Info
Q: I took the MyEdBC training so why is my username and password from that session not working?
A: The username and passwords we used in training were from the Training Database, meaning these were only for "play" and are not your real accounts. You will be given a real username and login once you have attended the appropriate training sessions pertaining to your role in SD23. Please check eBase for upcoming training sessions for MyEdBC.
Q: I have taken the required training for my position but have not yet been given my account information, how can I obtain this?
A: A User Access Request Form (here) will need to be filled out and signed by either the Head Secretary or Admin of your school. Then scan and email the form back to software.support@sd23.bc.ca. We will then personally email your MyEdBC credentials to you.
Q: I heard that I can log in to MyEdBC with my firstname.lastname and use "District#23" as my password, why is this not working for me?
A: We have not created user accounts for all staff in SD23. MyEd BC training must be completed before an account is created for staff.
Q: I am inputting my username shown below, and it's saying I have an "invalid username." What am I doing wrong?
Username: Jane.Doe I've also tried: Jane.Doe@sd23.bc.ca
A: Your username MUST all be in lowercase letters. You also do not need to put anything after your first and last name. MyEdBC is case sensitive (this applies to your username, password and security questions).
