The first week of training was a resounding success and the feedback on MyEducation BC has been very positive.
During the second week of training, we're happy to welcome the Elementary Clerical staff and Administrators.
The Orientation and Demographics Manuals are both available on this site and are also available in the SD23 District Portal under Help Yourself > MyEducation BC as well as the Resources page on this site.
Prior to your training session, you will receive an email with the document(s) attached. Please print a copy of the manual(s) and bring them with you to the training session.
Just a reminder that all of the training links have been sent out via email. If you haven't received a private link as part of a targeted group to sign up for an eReg session, contact Kirsten Bonn. (Kirsten.email@example.com 250-870-5000 X 4290)
Did you know?
In MyEdBC, when a student is WITHDRAWN, you can choose to "retain former school association" . This enables the school the student is being withdrawn from to continue to enter marks, attendance, and report card information that are associated with that school after the student has been admitted at his or her next school. No more cross enrolled students for report cards!
About Our Team
The face of your implementation team is Rachael Clarke, Jessica Ewings, Jacki Stabb, Crystal Drachenberg and Blair Hope. We have many behind the scenes members whose contributions have been second to none. Projects of this size always require organization-wide cooperation and teamwork so a big thank-you in advance to everyone involved. Embracing change and maintaining a positive attitude are the things that will set us apart and help us to succeed as we forge ahead with our new student information system.
Jessica Ewings came to our team from Rutland Senior Secondary and has been employed with the school district for over 5 years. She has amazing organizational skills and a quiet confidence that enables her to assist everyone effectively and efficiently. Her good humour and happy disposition are just a couple of things that make her an exceptional team member. Fun facts about Jessica: she is adept at planning and pulling off practical jokes (ask Rachael) , and she loves her Boxer Stella.
